Neill Menneer (BA Hons) - CEO & Chief Photographer
I have been a photographer all my life, ever since winning a Polaroid camera from the back of a cereal packet when I was eleven years old. After winning the Observer Photography competition years later and after obtaining a degree in photography I became a freelance photographer and have been taking pictures ever since. I still have the same passion and interest in photography and love nothing more than capturing classic images of people and places. I was one of the pioneers in digital photography and still love to finish our images in a variety of finishes. We moved into our new premises in 2007 and Team Spirit have created the perfect environment for the sole purpose of creating special and unique images of people. Every aspect of the building is dedicated to this end and to satisfy customer needs and comfort.
Jo Menneer - Sales and Marketing Manager
I came into the business in 2007. I don’t take photos, but I know a good image when I see one. I love working in this environment, it’s so much fun getting to know the families when they’re having their portraits done and then I have the privilege of showing them their portraits and sharing the laughter and tears. I am an ex Norland nanny, so have masses of experience with little children and making them feel comfortable. Neill and I have two teenagers, so we also know (sometimes!)what they respond to best! Spirit is very much a family orientated business, we like to get to know our clients, whether they’re 2 or 82; photography is a very personal experience and we like to help our clients relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera as quickly as possible. My hobbies are chilling with our kids, walking Rosie the dog and singing in my band Lazy Divas.
Jesse Loughborough - Production Manager
As a father of twins and an enthusiastic amateur photographer I understand fully the importance of having family photos to treasure for ever. I have been with the company since 2002 and as production manager I ensure that the artwork we create is efficiently and correctly produced. Technically I like to think of myself as the sticky stuff that holds things together!
